Crimson Lake

Wilderness Village

Notes: The Lake is about 3 km long, has an abundance of pike and perch and offers boating, fishing, water skiing, camping, and picnicking. Treed sites, wood supplied with fee, small food store/concession, ten outdoor toilets, and bear-proof garbage bins. Burntstick Lake caters to families and there is zero tolerance for rowdiness.

Camp Brazeau

Location: 40 km W on Hwy 11 turn N on the Sunchild road, travel N for 60 km. Junction to Sunchild road can also be found 60 km S of Drayton Valley on Hwy 620. Sunchild road is gravel.
# Of sites: 48 sites with no services. Two overflow areas, one for 15 and another for 4. Three group sites available, two un-serviced and one with power. There is an enclosed cook shack and fireplace. Group sites are reservation only, prepaid with no refunds.

Amenities: Bird watching, nature hikes and sandy beach. Reservoir or water use is at own risk. There are many underwater hazards. Group site with power is available for individual camping if unoccupied. No quadding allowed in campground. Quiet camping after 11:00 p.m. is strictly enforced.

Ram River, Clearwater River, and Prairie Creek drainages are all within biking distance.
Notes: ATV friendly, you can drive your ATVs throughout the campsite. Family oriented.

Phyllis Lake

leash at all times and please clean up after them. Walking trails along creek.
