Visitor Friendly Assessment
In 2017 the David Thompson Country Regional Tourism Working Group partnered with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and contracted Expedition Management Consulting to perform a Visitor Friendly Assessment in our region.  This assessment is a part of the Regional Tourism Strategy that the Village, Town and County approved in August of 2016.

In the summer of 2017 Expedition visited a variety of businesses in Caroline, Rocky Mountain House, Nordegg, Leslieville and Clearwater County.  Expedition has tabulated their results, created a Visitor Friendly Assessment report, and the information has been presented to the 3 local municipal Councils.

The Councils for the Village of Caroline, the Town of Rocky Mountain House, and Clearwater County have all accepted the report as information.  The report will be used by David Thompson Country Regional Tourism Working Group, consisting of administrative staff for the 3 municipalities, to update the Regional Tourism Strategy which will be taken back to Councils in late 2018.
