Help Shape Clearwater County’s 2027 Budget
Every year, Council makes decisions about roads, bridges, emergency services, recreation, agricultural programs, and many other services that support our communities. Many of these services are required under Alberta's Municipal Government Act (MGA). Others are priorities identified by Council based on community needs and available funding.
Did We Listen?
In response to feedback received during last year's budget engagement process, Council has already taken action by:
- Reducing spending in some areas based on community input.
- Beginning engagement on senior housing needs.
- Prioritising core infrastructure that supports essential services and programs.
- Continuing to review spending to ensure tax dollars deliver value.
Thank you to everyone who shared feedback. Your input helps Council make informed decisions and set priorities for the future.
