Clearwater County has one standalone bulk water filling station located in the townsite of Nordegg. A new automated system has been implemented to serve residents and commercial users with varying volume needs. This new system simplifies management of station payments and controls the community’s water supply.

Upon registration, Clearwater County will receive notification and approve the new account. Users will then receive an access code and pin number.
Until further notice, Clearwater County will continue to invoice for bulk water. If you have any questions or require assistance with setting up an account, please contact the office at 403-845-4444.

Wildfire Update (RWF036) – May 17, 1:00 p.m.
Alberta Wildfire continues to respond to wildfire RWF036, which remains out of control and has grown to approximately 1,043 hectares. The fire is located about 5 km north of James-Wilson Provincial Recreation Area, 30 km west of Sundre, and 20 km southwest of Burnstick Lake, near Highway 40 and Highway 584.
The area remains on evacuation alert (no mandatory evacuation order). Please avoid the area, give firefighters and aircraft plenty of space, and stay safe. Smoke may be visible but poses no risk to nearby communities.
Despite cooler weather and scattered snow/rain, crews are actively building containment along the north perimeter and working on interior hotspots today.
