Debris pile burning will begin February 26, 2026, and continue intermittently until April 30, 2026, as part of ongoing FireSmart work in the Nordegg area. Smoke may be visible at times. Burning will only occur under safe conditions. If you're planning on lighting a brush pile in Clearwater County, don't forget to complete a burn notification. Help Shape Clearwater County’s 2026 Budget

From December 10-12, 2025, Council reviewed the proposed 2026 Budget.

This page was setup to provide the public an opportunity to provide input through a budget survey quiz for a chance to win a prize.

Residents can watch the livestream on Clearwater County's YouTube channel and additional meeting information is available on the Council Meeting portal page.

How will public input be used?

Public input received during budget deliberations and online will be:

presented to Council for consideration for their budget deliberations;
made public online; and
will help set the stage for future public engagement opportunities.
